Alyssa's Field Trip
On Friday, the 4th grade went on a field trip to the Dismal Swamp State Park. Even though it was really, really cold, the kids had a great time. They walked on a nature trail, attended a class about the animals and even made their own animal print.

Looks like they had a lot of fun! Wish I could have gone! Just kiddin.. It's been a long time since I've been on a field trip! LOL Your blog brought back some memories!

Yep! Ethan is Alyssa's boyfriend. They are 6 days apart and have grown up together.

I didn't even know that their was a Dismal Swamp State Park that you could visit and have a field trip at. Was it a good one? Because if so I might make mention of it at our next meeting. The pictures are cute and it does look like they had a good time. Got my fingers crossed for Logan today!!
Donielle, It was a good trip. They were very organized and the kids had a great time. You should look into it. If you are interested, let me know and I will see if I can get some additional information for you. I do suggest going on a warmer day because it was sooooo cold!

WOW....I am impressed...looks like the Dismal Swamp trip wasn't so dismal afterall....love the pictures too....looks like Alyssa had a great time as well...glad you could be there to enjoy it with her. I miss those days!!!
I'm glad they all had a good time....It really does sound interesting.......I'm like Donielle I didn't even know about it.....I thought the dismal swamp was just somewhere you had to drive through to get to the beach!
