Week 12 Results

Can I get a little drumroll please......LOL......I lost 2 lbs. this week!!!!! That is a total of 17.4 lbs.!!! YAY! I was and am soooo excited! I was starting to wonder if I was ever going to lose another pound, 4 ounces here, 2 ounces there! Ugh! I was getting so frustrated with myself. I knew I wasn't putting the effort in it that I should. I am getting really close to hitting a big goal of mine! I'll share once I hit it! Congratulations on everyone's weight loss this week! Thanks again for all of your support! It has helped so much! Hope you all have a great weekend!

Hey Rhonda!

So..how do you like my title? LOL Rhonda left me a message on my last blog asking did I only blog on Fridays. So...I am blogging on Thursday! Ha! LOL I know she's laughing because she gets my crazy sense of humor!

Anyways, things have been pretty good my way. Alyssa made a 110 on her Spelling Test! She has been struggling with Spelling/Reading this year, which I do not get because they were my best subjects. Her Daddy has been making her write her spelling words 10 times each everynight except Friday and weekends! A little extreme to me because she has 25 words, but it seemed to work. When it comes to Alyssa, he relates to her more. She is a mini version of Joey and it drives me nuts! LOL Don't get me wrong, we are extremely close, but she just relates more to her Daddy.

Camryn on the other hand, is a mini me! LOL She LOVES to talk, she's tender hearted, friendly, caring, so unlike my other two! Ha! Sorry, but it's true! Camryn does really, really good in school! I have been so proud of her grades. She has been feeling yucky this week and missed a day of school! She's back today!

Logan (another little Joey) has brought home 3 green cards this week! His inspiration has been Karate, which he loves! Karate is on Tuesday nights, which are Daddy nights, so Joey has been taking him. It's been nice because usually I do all the running around for the kids. I do have to admit, I do want to see him in class! I bet he is the cutest thing in Karate!

Nathan won a digital camera at school! He had the 2nd highest in doughnut sales! Thank you Resinall!!!! He missed coming in first by 2 boxes! I wish I would have known he was that close. 1st place won an IPOD, but he said he rather have the camera.

Aaron has been doing great in school as always! He is in the JROTC this year at school. He has a ball/dance for that this Friday night. He will be at his Mom's, so I won't get to see him all dressed up! I'm sure he's going to have a great time!

Everything is still busy around Meherrin Fertilizer! Today is Jamie's last day and we are going to miss her so much!!! Hope you all are doing good and staying dry. Sorry for the rambling blog and I will post my weight loss tomorrow! Atleast, I hope it's a loss!

Week 11 Results

Again, not the results I was hoping for but I did manage to lose 4 ounces last night. When I stepped on the scales at home yesterday I weighed exactly the same as the week before. I convinced myself to skip Weight Watchers and work really hard and go back next week. But...with a little push from some of my friends, I went to WW. In the past, when I skipped a meeting with that idea in mind, I would quit and not go back. So...the important thing is...I didn't quit. I've lost a total of 15.4 lbs with Weight Watchers!!! Hopefully, the weather will warm up this week and I can start walking again. Good luck to everyone on their diets this week! Thank you all for keeping me on track!!!

Funny Story

I just shared this funny story with the girls at work, and decided I should share it with you. Yesterday, Nathan went riding golf carts with CJ and his Uncle Ray. While riding they came upon a groundhog! Nathan went up to the groundhog and said Ahhhh! The groundhog turned around and growled grrrr at Nathan and the hairs stood up on his back. The groundhog preceded to chase Nathan! He fell down twice before he could get away from the groundhog!!! The groundhog did not catch him, but can you just imagine?!?! I had no idea a groundhog would growl, much less chase after you!! Hilarious!! Beware of groundhogs! hahahaha

Weekend Recap

Friday night....Blogger Blast '09. Cathy, Rhonda, Shari, Mary and myself headed to Franklin in the rain to Blogger Blast '09!!! We stopped at Belk for a few minutes and tried on some clothes! I was so excited that I fit in a smaller size! I couldn't believe I walked out of there without buying anything. My husband was so proud! LOL Then, we were off to Joe's to meet some old friends and new ones! We had the best time! I wish all of our Blogging Buddies could have been there. Thank you Judi, Wendy and Mandy!!!

Saturday...I went to the tanning bed at 9, came home and literally layed around almost all day. It was just such a yucky, rainy day! That afternoon, we headed to Rocky Mount with Tammy, Ray and Cody and ate at Outback, went to Wal-Mart and to the movies to see The Last House on the Left. I literally covered my face 2 or 3 times! Pretty graphic movie!!!

Sunday...Another rainy day at home. Camryn had a friend come over that afternoon. We made cupcakes and they had a great time. The rain kept them indoors, but they still had a lot of fun!

I weighed this morning and I had only gained 2 ounces! I was pretty pleased. I usually mess up pretty bad on the weekends. We love to cook out or go out, and we always end up eating late. So, we pretty much ended up having a good weekend. Our yard looks like a small pond right now, but everything is good! LOL

What week is this...oh yeah 10....WOW!!!!

Okay, for me to be on a diet for 10 weeks is pretty dag on impressive! LOL I only lost 8 ounces last night. So, I lost the 6 ounces I gained last week plus an additional 2. But, I hit 15 pounds at Weight Watchers! Yay Me! If I wouldn't have cheated on my diet this weekend, I probably would have lost more. I had to work my butt off to get off 4 pounds! Yep, that's right, I gained 4 pounds over the weekend. To be honest with you, I didn't even think I over ate, I thought I was just eating like a "normal" person and thought I would maintain. But oh no, not me, had to put on some pounds. I walked 4 days this week, so I am pretty proud of that. Go away rain, so I can walk some more! I am ready for the warm weather and my flip flops!

Sooooo excited about the Blogger Blast tonight!!!! I wish everyone could be there and you will be missed! I'm sure there will be tons of pictures and blogs about it! LOL Hope you all have a great weekend!!!

I can't believe I am blogging on a Tuesday! I have so much work to do, but I'm taking a little break to say Thank You to all of my Blogging Buddies! You have all been so encouraging and left the sweetest comments on my diet. Thank you! It has helped me more than you know!!! Now, I'm going to go back to work. Oh, and I am so excited about the Blogger Blast!!!!

Week 9 Results

So...am I only blogging about my weight loss now...or should I say gain this week? Yep, that's right, I gained 6 ounces! I handled it like a big girl and I did not get upset. I did really good last week thanks to stress, so I was looking for a gain this week. I'm pretty pleased that it was only 6 ounces. Today is a new day and I am NOT giving up!!!! Congratulations to everyone on your weight loss this week! Just think how much smaller we are all going to be next year! Yay Us! LOL

Not much has been going on my way. We've been really busy at work! UGH! The kids are doing great! The hubby is doing great! LOL My Dad had some bloodwork drawn and it looked really good. He had lost a little weight and his blood pressure had gone down. My Mama has been on a low carb diet and lost over 20 lbs and I am so jealous! LOL But, so proud of her! My brother is starting a new job Monday! He will be the new Manager at Sherwin Williams in Roanoke Rapids, so send him some business and tell him you blog with his sister! He would love it! He worked at Sherwin Williams a little over a year ago as the Assistant Manager and changed jobs for his family. He has missed Sherwin Williams ever since he left. Well, the Manager position became available and they actually called him and asked him to apply for it! Wow! He got the job and he starts Monday! I am so proud of him! I have the best brother in the world. We have always been really close, but have recently had the opportunity to spend more time together and it's been great! I have missed my crazy brother! Those of you that know him, know he is a mess!
